In 2011, Brisbane and Queensland generally were hit by massive floods which rivalled that of the infamous 1974 floods. The damages incurred due to the floods cost the state multi-billions of dollars. Southbank is an entertaining and dining hub in central Brisbane and is a prime tourist location. Techni-Clean was commissioned by Southbank Corporation to pressure clean the undercover carparks so that normal tourist traffic could return to Brisbane as soon as possible. Techni-Clean was on the job immediately and began the painstaking process of sanitising the facilities using a hot pressure cleaning method. To ensure this essential work was completed as quickly as possible, Techni-Clean Australia allocated several extra pressure units to Brisbane for the duration of the project.
